The Estaçao das Docas is one of the places that nobody should miss. The old docks and stores have been refurbished and converted into fashionable restaurants. The area is 100% safe. It has private police and restricted access. Several restaurants, one next to another, offer open air terraces and interior tables where one can enjoy Brazilian cuisine. Some restaurants also offer western food (Italian, German, Chinese, and so on).
