8/37.- Belem, Praça do Relogio

In this picture you can see the Praça do Relógio, or Clock Square, not far from the museums we saw previously. On a pleasant walk from here we will get to the port.

The city of Belem has a big modern airport with direct flights to the main Brazilian destinations, and with some international flights to the countries in the area. To get to/from the airport you'd better take a taxi. The city of Belem can also be accessed by coach from the south, but most tourists come to Belem on a cruise ship.
