Atlantic City's beach is quite crowded in summer, mainly during weekends and public holidays. Families with kids, and non--gamblers, can enjoy the nice city climate on the sand; in summer sunbathing, and in winter strolling.

Atlantic City has a humid continental climate, with cool summers and not-chilly winters, thanks to its location by the ocean.
