2/24.- Atlantic City, Taj Mahal Casino

Atlantic City has gone through periods of expansion and decline through the last 100 years. The first beach hotels opened their doors at the beginning of the 20th century. Back then, its nice beach, and the railway, brought many tourists to the town. In the middle of the 20th century, Atlantic City underwent a severe crisis. It was not until 1976, when New Jersey voters approved casino gambling for Atlantic City, that the city regained its lost splendor.

In the picture you can see one of the most famous casinos in town, the Trump Taj Majal.
