4/50.- Red Sea, marsa alam, beach

This is the main reason to come here: the Red Sea. If it looks beautiful from here, wait till we dive in it. It is a miracle that a natural marvel like this has survived so many millions of years.

Our first contact with the waters of this sea will be right here, in front of the beach where we spent our first night. The quantity and beauty of the fauna and flora of these waters can only be compared with the ones in other famous coral reefs in the world, like the ones in Australia, the indian ocean and the caribbean.

It is not necessary to scuba dive to appreciate the beauty of the underwater life, as you will see in the following pages. The next six photos were taken with a disposable underwater camera, between one and three meters deep.
