12/26.- Pyramids tour, Gizah, Mikerinos pyramid

At the right you can see the Mikerinos pyramid, the smallest of the three main pyramids in Gizah. At the left you can see the queens pyramids.

This pyramid is 62 meter high. It is the worst preserved one, because in the 16th century a Caliph tried to demolish it.

Near the pyramid there is the funerary temple of Mikerinos, which can be visited, and under the sand, the ruins of the Kefren temple.

It is possible to get inside the pyramid for a few Egyptian pounds. The access corridor is very low and the rooms are small, but it is an experience you will hardly forget.
