17/47.- Marrakech, Bahia Palace, arcade

There are two reasons for spending as long as you can in the palaces in Marrakech. One reason is the beauty of the decorations. Each and every detail is richly decorated. Bring your camera and plenty of memory space, because I am only showing a fraction of what it is on display in this palace.

The other reason for visiting the palaces, is to get away from the bustling streets of Marrakech. Inside the palaces reigns the calm. There is no noise, no smells, almost no action. And what it is even better, the temperature is usually lower inside the rooms. Take your time, and relax, because as soon as you leave the Palace the harasment will start again.
