Sellers in the souks of Marrakech speak several languages. You won't need a dictionary to understand them. They speak Arabic and French perfect. They are also fluent in other European languages, mainly English and Spanish. But some of them are able to speak half a dozen languages. German, ItAlian, Dutch and even Japanese tourist should not worry about the language barrier.
