24/25.- Fez, Medina, Bab Boujeloud Gate

Although this is one of the most famous gates in the medina of Fez, it is a rather young monument. It dates back to 1913. The gate marks the end of Fez el Jedid and the beginning of Fez el Bali. Note that the color of the mosaics change. On one side are blue, the color of fez, and on the other side are green, the color of Islam.

Through the gate you can see a restaurant and its terrace --a nice place to have dinner --. Further right you will find more restaurants.
