15/31.- Essaouira, cafe terraces

The city of Essaouira has also many cafes with open air terraces. The ambient in this town is more relaxed than in the other Moroccan cities. You won't be harassed here by sellers as everywhere else in Morocco. This will make of your time spend here a very relaxing experience.

Cafes serve all kind of drinks except alcohol. The local specialty is hot tea with mint (ah, how refreshing it is). If you want to drink a Moroccan beer, you will have to ask a local for a beer bar. There are some bars that serve alcohol, but they are hidden in the darkest streets of the town.
