8/50.- Luxor, Luxor temple, 3d puzzle

You can see here what remains of one of the walls in the temple. Archeologists are currently working to reconstruct it. As you can imagine this is a work that will take some years. Once the wall is reconstructed, experts will be able to understand the meaning of these reliefs. If you have ever completed a big puzzle you can understand how difficult it is to match all these stones.

It may surprise you to learn that archeologists are still working in temples like these. But it is not so strange, you have to know that the quantity (and size) of temples in Egypt is amazing. Several centuries would be necessary to study the ruins already discovered, but there are still so many to discover ...
