45/50.- Cairo, Midan Ramses, al-Fath Mosque

The al Fath Mosque you can see in the photo has the highest minaret in Cairo. This minaret was finished in the 1990's. You can visit the mosque everyday, except on friday during the praying hours.

You have to remember friday is the holy day in Egypt. Most tourist services are open everyday, but some shops close on friday. Most official services close on friday also. Saturday and sunday are working days!
