30/43.- Aswan, traffic

In this photo you can see a popular street. You may be wondering why there are no photos of the temples on this Photographic Tour. There are two reasons. The first one is that local people interested me more than the stones their ancestors left. The other reason is that I visited Aswan after visiting the pyramids of Cairo, the temples in Luxor and the temples in Abu Simbel, and I did not want to visit more temples in Aswan.

There are some really nice temples one can visit in the area, though. But if you have visited all the temples in Luxor, Abu Simbel and the pyramids, it is possible that once you get to Aswan you need to make a pause. Anyway, in the following pages I will give you some info about the temples near Aswan.
