26/43.- Aswan, Nubian door 2

Although Nubian music is famous worldwide, it is not as easy to find in Egypt as one can expect. This music, sang in Nubian language, is not very appreciated in the rest of Egypt. One of the only cities where one can buy Nubian tapes is in the Aswan bazaars.

Three main instruments make this music so especial: the "oud", the "douff" (a drum) and the "kisir" (a string instrument).
