Thanks to its nice winter weather, Aswan was already a tourist destination in the 19th century. This is great news for you, if you want to come here in winter. If you want to come in summer, you should know that the weather is extremely hot. In June, July and August it is so hot, that even strolling along these streets can be an exhausting experience.
