8/41.- Alexandria, unknown soldier's grave

In the photo you can see a local taxi. They are easily identified thanks to their colors: black and orange. You can stop a taxi anywhere. Even if the taxi is occupied you can stop it. If there is enough space the passengers will be pleased to share the taxi with you. Taxi rides are cheap, but as everywhere in Egypt, you will have to pay an extra fee if you are a foreign tourist. This extra fee will not be as high as in other Egyptian cities, because although this is a tourist destination, not many foreign visitors come to this city. If you are good at the art of bargaining you can get (almost) the local price.
