Tossa de Mar is also known as the "Flower of the Sea", because of its beauty.
The town's traditional sources of income were the sea activities --fishing and trade-- and the cork industry.
Nowadays tourism is almost the only source of income. And this still surprises me, because the summer season does not last more than three months. Easter, Saturdays and, especially, Sundays are the days more tourists choose to come to this unique town. The rest of the year this is a town where almost nothing happens.
