12/41.- Cesky Krumlov, 3rd Courtyard

The 2nd courtyard was called the Lower Castle. On this part of the Castle there are some interesting buildings: the Hradek Building, the New Administrators’ house, Mint and Dairy. The Hradek with a tower is the most important of them, it’s currently being restored..

The construction of the 3rd and 4th courtyards took place between the 14th and 18th century. The current appearance of these courtyard dates from the 16th century, when the Renaissance architects Ericer Vlach and Baldassare Maggi and the painter Gabriel de Blonde gave them their current form.
