Narni is another of those Umbrian mountaintop cities with Etruscan origins and a history under the Roman Empire. In its vicinity, several vestiges of a large Roman aqueduct can still be seen. Near one of these, at the end of a narrow forst trail, a needle indicates the exact geographical centre of Italy.
