50/50.- Istanbul, Black Sea panoramic view from the hill at Anadolu Kavagi

The hill at Anadolu Kavagi is a unique vantage point of the last stretch of the Bosphorus to the Black Sea. Here we stand on the Asian side looking at the European waters of the Black Sea, the legendary Pontus Euxinus. The view is breathtaking and you want to fix it in your memory before returning for the ferry boat.
The slopes down the hill can offer you the pleasant surprise of a nay playing shepherd dressed in ethnic costume surrounded by his sheep in a bucolic scenery; so don't be shy and take a shortcut instead of the main road. Thus we arrive by ferry back to the city around sunset after a delightful Istanbul Bogazi (Bosphorus) cruise experience.
As we also arrived at the end of our Photographic Tour of this fascinating city, I invite you to visit my TURKUAZ pages for more beautiful photos, information, links and my Ottoman cuisine recipes with pictures. Emalecdesign.com/turkuaz.htm
