38.- Glasgow, St. Andrew's in the Square

Menu

Close to the Saltmarket. What a beautiful building. Dates back to around 1740. It's too good to miss. Walk all around about it and admire the very expensive homes that make up the square surrounding the church. You can see them through the pillars.

Similar to other churches in Glasgow, this one also is reinventing itself - into a centre for Traditional Scottish music.

Close by is the Glasgow Police Museum where you’ll find an interesting collection of memorabilia. Read up on the gory details of mass murderers and gaze in awe at the array of uniforms of police from around the world.
