Munich has a good offer of museums. Some of the more important are: the Deutsches Museum, a technical museum; the Alte Pinakotheken, with 15-18th century religious art; Die Neue Sammlung, a museum of applied art; the Haus der kunst, a contemporary museum; the Pinakothek der Moderne, a modern art museum; the Stadt Museum, which depicts the history of the city, among many others.
