
The Badia Fiorentina (at your left) is a Benedictine Abbey of the 10th century, it was reconstructed in the Baroque period. Inside the Badia there are important works of F. Lippi and Mino Fiesole.
In the Bargello Museum (at your right) you will find the best collection of Renaissance sculptures, with works of Michelangelo ("Tondo Pitti", "Bruto" and "Baco"), Benvenuto Cellini ("Perseo", "Narcissus" and "Perseo and Andromeda"), Donatello ("Saint George", "Atis Amor" and the "David"), Giovanni della Robbia, Verrocchio among others.
