7/39.- Brno, Josefska Street

The Town center of Brno is small enough to be visited on foot. Almost all our tour will be done on foot. Brno's industrialization begins in 1763, when the first textile factory was established. The first steam engine arrived in 1814. Some years before, in 1805-1809, Napoleon’s troops invaded the city. A few years later, in 1839, the first train to get to Brno arrives from Vienna, seven years later Brno also gets from Vienna the telegraph and lighting connections. As you can see Brno has always been an advanced city.

Now we will turn around, cross Masarykova Street and go to Zelny Trh, a square with a nice market
