
This "Funiculare Centrale" is the fastest way to the "Castel SantElmo" and the Martino Museum-Certosa, which sit on a hill. "Castel SantElmo" is the ancient fortress from Roberto dAngio times (14th century). "Certosa di San Martino" is a 17th century charterhouse. Its Naples Baroque best sample, inside the church youll find some interesting frescoes by Lanfranco among other works. In the "Museo e Pinacoteca di San Martino" theres an interesting collection of Napolitan Nativity Scenes, and some interesting art collections.
