The First August Emperor Dinh -- Dinh Tien Hoang --- reunified the country under the name of Dai Co Viet back in the 10th century. He was the first King of the Dinh dynasty. Recently Hanoi dedicated him this statue. It sits in front of Hoan Kiem Lake.
