Georgetown lived a golden age in the 1950's, when the then congressman and Senator John F. Kennedy and his wife Jackie lived here. In the 1960's and 1970's Georgetown became an alternative area, and many artists moved here. In the 1990's Georgetown became again a wealthy and stylish district. Today many politicians and entrepreneurs live in this old town.
