Neko Harbour is named after the floating whale factory ship, Neko, which operated in the South Shetlands and Antarctic Peninsula. Neko harbor is home to 250 breeding pairs of gentoo penguins, as well as kelp gulls and skuas. It was a great hike up the mountain.
