Bridge of Sighs
Some of the most typical sights in Venice are its bridges, and
one of the most famous is the 'Ponte della Paglia' (Straw Bridge),
which is always full of people.
The other famous bridge in this area is the Bridge of sighs, the
'Ponte dei Sospiri' in Italian, which connects the Dogos Palace (the
white building you see at your left) and the prison (at your right).
In this Jail, Casanova and Galileo Galilei spent part of their lives.
