15/35.- Venice, Piazza San Marco

This is the biggest space in Venice, which contrasts with the maze-like streets in this city. This is also one of the busiest places in town. In the square you’ll find orchestra cafes, but what makes this square unique are its visitors, you will find people from all over the world.

If you want to see this square from the sea, you can take one of the vaporetti that go to San Giorgio Maggiore or Lido. We will now take a look at the Palazzo Ducale (at our left).
