20/31.- Valencia, City Council

The name of the city (Valencia) comes form the Latin word: Valentia. The city was founded by Juni Brut, in 138 bC. From 718 to 1238 the city was under Islamic domination like most parts of Spain. In the XV century Valencia experienced its best times, becoming a commercial city.
