10/43.- Tarragona, Baixada Misericordia

This small street is known as the "Baixada Misericordia" (=mercy slope). The door you can see in front of us is an interesting night bar.

In many of the shops in this district there are Roman ruins. Some of the buildings you’re seeing were built over old Roman remains. There is an interesting tourist circuit, that will allow you to visit these ruins.
