21/28.- Tarifa, Playa de los Lances, kite schools

If you are looking for a place to learn to kite surf, Tarifa is also one of the best places on earth. There are several dozen kite schools in Tarifa. If you want to do a course, you can search online for a school. Beginners courses last two or three days, but if you want to learn to kite surf, you will need at least a week. Note that not every day you will be able to practice kite surfing. Some days the wind will be too weak and others too strong, big waves will also make the learning experience more difficult.

The best season to learn is in Spring and Autumn. If you can, do not come during the high season (especially from August the 1st to August the 21st), when the area is so crowded with beginners that going into the water with your kite may be dangerous.

In the area of Los Lances you will find several camp sites. They offer good services at an affordable price. Camping is an excellent option if you want to come to Tarifa to kite surf.
