30/34.- Seville, "La Macarena" !!!

We are in front of Our Lady of Macarena Church now. This is a very popular Church, especially popular during the holy week, when the venerated image of "La Virgen de la Macarena" is featured in processions.

I’m sure you have heard the Macarena song thousands of times. The song was very popular some years ago everywhere in the world. The "del Rio" song was dedicated to a young lady named Macarena. Both singers were born in Andalusia.
