9/20.- Santiago de Compostela, the Cathedral: side view

The Cathedral suffered major modifications in the 17th and 18th century. The Clock tower (a work of Domingo de Andrade) was added in 1676-80. The Obradoiro Facade - the main one, work of Fernando Casas- was finished in 1750. The "Azabache" Facade -a work of D.A. Lois Monteagudo- was finished in 1770.
