8/20.- Santiago de Compostela, the Cathedral: front view

This Catholic Cross form Romanesque Cathedral has three major naves. One of its many attractions is the "Botafumeiro", the big censer used to welcome the pilgrims.

The main doors "Las Platerias" and "de la Gloria" are important late Romanesque (~1188) pieces of the Master Mateo.
