39/42.- Rome, Foro traiano,
Basilica
We are now at one of the ends of Avenue Fori Imperiali --the Fori
Imperialli Avenue goes from the Colosseum to Piazza Venezia. Here
you can admire a vast conglomeration of basilicas, temples and public
squares. The Roman Emperors built here monuments to glorify the city
of Rome. The most impressive of them all is the Forum of Trajan (107-113
AD). Another must see monument is the Markets of Trajan, with dozens
of single room stores.
