27/42.- Rome, The Swiss Guards

If you want to attend a Pope public audience, you should know that it is difficult, but not impossible. Before traveling to Rome, you should write to the 'Prefattura della Casa Pontificia' --00120 Città del Vaticano--, stating the desired dates and the number of people in your group. Audiences take place on Wednesday, usually at half past ten. If you didn't write before coming to Rome, you can still go to the Casa Pontificia's office on Monday or Tuesday and ask if there is any chance to see the Pope.
