23/42.- Rome, The Vatican, San Pietro’s confessional

The beauty of this construction and the many works of art preserved here can make us think we are inside a Museum. But no, it is not a museum. It is an active temple.

In the photo you see the confessionals, where people confess their sins. According to the Roman Catholic Church confessing your sins can be your first step to get to paradise. I am afraid I do not have enough time to confess all my sins now ... I will keep visiting the Temple.

Many of the visitors of this place come here only for cultural reasons, but many others come here for religion reasons. Remember that this is the first pilgrimage center for the Roman Catholics.
