These twin churches are called the 'Santa Maria in Montesanto'
--at our left, a work of Rainaldi-- and the 'Santa Maria dei Miracoli'
--at our right, a work of Bernini.
I wonder why two
churches so similar were built one next to the
other.
Not far from here (northeast) there is the 'Galleria Borghese',
in Villa Borghese, where you can admire the Berninis sculptures.
