3/42.- Rome, Foro di Traiano

On the other side of the 'Av Fori Imperiali' we find the 'Foro di Traiano', created by Apolodoro of Damascus in 111-114. This Forum was one of the biggest in Rome. One of its symbols is the Traiano Column, a 1000 feet tall decorated monument to recall the emperor Traiano’s campaigns. On this same place there used to be a two floors Market, the Basilica Ulpia and two libraries.
