47/50.- Botiza, vegetal color rugs by Parasca Sidau

We are at the house and guesthouse of Parasca Sidau a folk artist from Botiza where we admire her beautiful rugs and carpets decorated with Maramures motifs of the gate, the women dance, the wooden church. We bought from her several rugs for decorating the walls and also as a souvenir from the beautiful Maramures country. Botiza is a village renowed for weaving of traditional rugs and carpets with natural dyes and will be easy to find women artists that sell their work to tourists.
