29/43.- Prague, Klaster Na Slovanech (Emauzy)

This monastery was founded in 1347, in times of Charles IV. Its two steeples are a symbol of the New Town. They are the center of the Slavonic liturgy. The temple was severely damaged during the second World War in 1945, but soon after it was restored.

We will now go back to the Vltava river, and visit Vysehrad (the Upper Castle) ....
