Novomestská Radnice
Well, I hope you could understand what 'Novomestská radnice'
means. What? You couldnt ... No problem, it means New Town Town
Hall ("Novomestská" = new town, and "radnice" = Town Hall).
In case you want to know Ill tell you that no, I dont
speak Czech
This building dates
from 1377, the tower was finished in 1425-26, and the
entrance hall columns were added in the 15th century. In
front of the building stands a monument to Jan Zelivsky,
who in 1419 threw the New Town Counselors out of the
window.
