Paris, Centre George Pompidou
The 'Centre National d'Art et de Culture Georges-Pompidou' opened
its doors in 1977. Since then there is a controversy in Paris' artistic
circles: is this a symbol of the 20th century's creativity? Or is
it just a symbol of the lack of it? Although I am still not sure if
I like it or not, I am sure of one thing: it is a symbol of Paris.
In the photo you can see one of the facades. The other face is
more colorful. Blue, red, green and yellow plastic ducts decorate
it. The 'Centre Pompidou' holds exhibition halls, libraries and the
'Musee National d'Arts Modern'.
