Paris, Allee des Cignes
In this photo you can see a nice view of the 'Alle des Cignes'.
On this small Island sits the copy of the Statue of Liberty. The original
statue, as you may well know, is in New York City. The statue in New
York was a donation of the French people to commemorate the alliance
between France and the United States during the American Revolution
from 1775 to 1783. The copy in Paris was made by the US for France
as a greeting.
On the right-hand side of the picture is the "maison de la
Radio", which is from where most of France TV radios are emitting
from.
