4/50.- Paris, Ile de la Cite

In this photo you see part of the biggest Island in the center of Paris: the 'Ile de la Cite'. This island is considered the heart of Paris. It has been inhabited since the 3rd century BC. Some of the most famous French kings lived here.

The beauty of the landscape attracts many painters, as the ones you can see at the bottom of the photo. If you click on the picture you will see a 360 panorama of the River Seine.
