'Capella dei Scrovegni' is a must see in Padua. This Gothic Chapel
was built in 1303. Inside you will find the most famous Giottos
frescoes. There are 38 frescoes that represent the history of religion
and mythology, with episodes of the new and the old Testaments.
In the 'Musei Civici', next to the 'Capella dei Scrovegni', you
will find Giorgione's "Leda and the Swan" and a restored Giotto Crucifix,
among many other works.
The 'Capella degli Scrovegni' (Arena Chapel) and the 'Museo Civico',
where you buy the tickets for both sites, are open daily from 9am
to 6pm. On Mondays the museum is closed.
