Something you should not miss if you ever come to Padua (or to Italy) is its traditional cuisine. Probably Italian cuisine is the most famous in the world. You have to taste the typical pasta and pizza specialties, but don’t miss the pannini, calzones and its traditional wines. Some typical courses in the province of Padua are: ‘Zuppa di porri e patate’, ‘Spaghetti con bacalà’, ‘polenta e baccalà’, ‘scampi’ and ‘Tiramisu’ (desert).
