9/27.- Padua, Basilica di Santa Giustina

The 'Basilica di Santa Giustina' was restored in the 16th century --and when I took the photo it was being restored again for the Millennium celebrations. It is a huge and beautiful church. Inside this basilica you will find a wonderful work by Verones: "The Martyrdom of Santa Giustina" (1575). There are also Barroque works by Luca Giordano and Sebastiano Ricci.
